\nDiscover the City of Brussels’ digital twin: a virtual replica that helps us better understand our urban environment and explore different ways of transforming it. Take part in an interactive workshop at the FARI Institute and share your views on proposed features designed to help better understand and tackle urban heat islands.
\nThe workshop will be an opportunity to put this tool to the test against the real-life experiences and needs of those who live in and use the City of Brussels every day, and to think together about the information and features that could genuinely be useful to you.
\nResidents of the City of Brussels who are interested in their neighbourhood, the environment and quality of life in the city; people affected by extreme heat; anyone curious to understand what a “digital twin” is without needing to be an engineer; members of associations, neighbourhood committees, or citizen and environmental groups; teachers in technical and vocational education who would like to introduce their students to a practical technology applied to their city and everyday lives; students and professionals in digital technology, architecture or urban planning; and anyone interested in data and how it is used by public authorities.
\nMore simply, this workshop is for anyone who lives, works or spends time in the City of Brussels and wants to have a say in shaping the digital tools of tomorrow.
