The Building Digital Twin International Congress 2026 (BDTIC6), the sixth international edition of the congress dedicated to Building Digital Twins, will take place in Brussels from 26 to 28 May 2026. Organized by the Building Digital Twin Association (BDTA) in collaboration with the European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP), the event will bring together industry leaders, researchers, innovators and policymakers to advance discussion on digital transformation in the built environment.
As co-host of this years edition, FARI – AI for the Common Good Institute will play a creative role by hosting two workshops on May 27, 2026 at its premises. Providing a dedicated setting for exchange on key topics such as ontologies and semantics, the future standardisation of digital building permits, and broader developments in Building Digital Twins. The main congress programme will continue at the Thon Hotel Bristol Stéphanie, with sessions focused on digital building permits, vertical aggregation, civil infrastructure digital twins, mathematical simulation and ethics, as well as European research and innovation projects in the field. By co-hosting this international event and opening its doors to expert-led workshops, FARI reaffirms its commitment to supporting responsible digital innovation and fostering collaboration around the future of the built environment.
