Shape the Future: Join the Conversation on AI and Energy Distribution!

Offline

Are you interested in the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and energy distribution? Do you want to have a say in how AI should decide on the allocation of energy resources in the future? If so, we invite you to participate in a unique opportunity: a citizen jury on AI in Brussels.

In collaboration with imec-SMIT, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and FARI – AI for the Common Good Institute, are organizing a citizen jury to explore the ethical implications of AI in energy distribution. This jury will address the fundamental question: How should artificial intelligence decide on the distribution of energy in the future?

What is a Citizen Jury?

A citizen jury brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds to deliberate on a specific topic and provide informed recommendations. In this case, we’re seeking the input of 20 Brussels citizens who will be randomly selected to contribute their perspectives on the ethical principles guiding AI in energy distribution.

Why Participate?

By joining the citizen jury, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of AI in energy distribution. Your insights and recommendations will help inform policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders as they navigate the complexities of AI technology in the energy sector.

How to Participate

To be considered for the citizen jury, simply register before May 1st by clicking here.

No specific skills or knowledge are required – everyone is welcome to participate!

Get Involved

If you are passionate about the responsible use of AI and want to make a difference in shaping its role in energy distribution, we encourage you to join us. Together, let’s explore how AI can be harnessed for the common good and ensure a sustainable energy future for all.
