ULB-KTO is hosting a hybrid seminar titled “AI meets Patent and Copyright Law,” aimed at supporting ULB researchers. Scheduled for Tuesday, May 28, 2024, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM, the event will take place both online and on-site at the ULB Solbosch campus

The advent of artificial intelligence has brought unprecedented challenges for intellectual property law. This presentation offers an overview of the current state of its impact on patent law and copyright law, as well as a regulatory outlook.

Simon Geiregat, is a full-time Research Professor of Intellectual Property Law at Ghent University. He is also a part-time Assistant Professor at Tilburg University and a member of ABA-BVA. His main scope of research is in digital copyright law.
