The CAVE

The CAVE is an immersive and interactive virtual environment that helps policymakers, scientists, researchers, and urban planners visualize and simulate digital content and virtual objects that closely simulate real-world experiences, bringing a deeper insight and understanding to stakeholders. The CAVE technology has broad applications across industries such as Urban Planning and Architecture, Scientific Research, Healthcare, Defense and Aerospace, Manufacturing and Product Design, and Education and Training. The Center displays demos and prototypes from both non-commercial and commercial research institutes. We aim to help companies and research labs develop and improve their proof-of-concepts through workshops, trainings, and other services.


Public and Private Research Laboratories

Due to its prime location in Brussels, the Center is well positioned to cater Brussels policymakers to explore smart cities’ solutions. The Center aims to facilitate the implementation of Brussels-based projects and thus strengthening the collaborative efforts between researchers and Brussels' public administration.

Government Institutions

The center provides experience-oriented facilities including demos, prototypes, and workshops for the broader public. This aims to create an environment for technology testing and for stirring public discussions about the future of a trustworthy digital society.
