Experiences
Public and Private Research Laboratories
The Center displays demos and prototypes from both non-commercial and commercial research institutes. We aim to help companies and research labs develop and improve their proof-of-concepts through workshops, trainings, and other services.
Government Institutions
Due to its prime location in Brussels, the Center is well positioned to cater Brussels policymakers to explore smart cities’ solutions. The Center aims to facilitate the implementation of Brussels-based projects and thus strengthening the collaborative efforts between researchers and Brussels' public administration.
Civic Organizations
The center provides experience-oriented facilities including demos, prototypes, and workshops for the broader public. This aims to create an environment for technology testing and for stirring public discussions about the future of a trustworthy digital society.
The CAVE
Computer Augmented Virtual Environment
Bringing immersive experience to the Brussels Capital Region
The CAVE is an immersive and interactive virtual environment that helps policymakers, scientists, researchers, and urban planners visualize and simulate digital content and virtual objects that closely simulate real-world experiences, bringing a deeper insight and understanding to stakeholders.
FARI’s CAVE is located on the 4th floor of BeCentral, at the heart of Brussels, right outside Brussels Central Station.
The CAVE technology has broad applications across industries such as Urban Planning and Architecture, Scientific Research, Healthcare, Defense and Aerospace, Manufacturing and Product Design, and Education and Training. FARI Test & Experience Center
The FARI Test & Experience Center is located strategically at BeCentral, right outside of Brussels Central Station.
We offer experience tours, trainings, workshops, citizen engagements, co-creation activities, as well as events with FARI's partners and stakeholders in this facility. The Test and Experience Center also co-houses Brussels' European Digital Innovation Hub called sustAIn.brussels.

What
The Experience
FARI offers guided demo tours at the Test & Experience Center as a service. These demo tours typically last from half an hour to 1,5 hours and can accomodate groups of up to 15 people. Previously, we have organized demo tours for local organizations such as Muntpunt, the European Commission, and Bozar.
