FARI is a joint initiative of ULB and VUB that promotes university research in artificial intelligence, data and robotics, with a focus on the common good and the community. The institute combines interdisciplinary expertise across 10 research groups specialising in artificial intelligence, data, robotics, social sciences, ethics and law. FARI conducts applied research and builds connections with public services, citizens and businesses. It advocates for the sustainable use of AI, data and robotics, with a focus on
priority areas for the Brussels-Capital Region: health, mobility, sustainable robotics, climate and energy, and a participatory and inclusive society.

Facilitating visits to the CAVE (Computer Augmented Virtual Environment): presenting and guiding the experience in this unique immersive environment, where AI, data and robotics are explored in a concrete and experiential way.
Organising and animating datawalks: contributing to thematic urban trails that invite participants to observe, question and understand the presence of data in public space.
Welcoming visitors and supporting event organisation: providing logistical and coordination support, managing attendance lists, assisting participants and ensuring the smooth running of activities.
Interacting with diverse audiences: engaging with public institutions, businesses, civil society organisations, researchers, students and citizens.
Collecting feedback: gathering participant responses to contribute to the continuous improvement of the experiences on o er.
