Yannick is a PhD student and a Teaching Assistant at the computer science department of Université Libre de Bruxelles. As a researcher in the Machine Learning Group (MLG), his research revolves around Cooperative Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning, and more specifically focuses on the problem of reward sparsity. As a teaching assistant, he teaches in many different computer science classes from first year bachelor up to master classes, and supervises multiple master theses in the field of reinforcement learning.

Before his ongoing PhD, Yannick completed a bachelor degree at the Institut Paul Lambin (2014-2017), then a master degree at ULB (2017-2019) with a master thesis dedicated to the integration of neural networks in embedded systems thanks to FPGAs. Workwise, he performed an internship in 2016 at STMicroelectronics (Brussels area) in the field of SIM cards, an internship at Sundance (London area) followed by a part-time job in the field of embedded AI (2018-2019), and worked as an IT consultant at Apside (Paris) where he was missioned with Valeo to work in the field of autonomous driving.
